Tony and Amanda, a young couple in a Quebec were returning home when spotted something lying on their house porch. It turned out there was a tiny fawn, but nothing unusual so far, thinking they live in a vast woods area. But as Amanda was getting closer she realized it’s something wrong with the little creature.

Weak and scared, the baby deer was in need of help and the young couple knew it, so they took the helpless creature inside their house. “We came back up to the house, and there was a fawn, literally laying on our doorstep,” Tony said. “He had to trust us, in order to survive.”

The young couple surrounded the baby deer with all of their love and kindness and it didn’t took too long until the little fawn regain its strength. During the days they took care of her, Amanda and Tony got really attached by the deer so when the time to release her back in the wild came, they decided to adopt her instead. They called the little fawn Hoppy.

Shortly after, the couple decided to bring Hoppy a friend and they though a cat might be a perfect companion. And they were so right. The moment they adopt Tiptree, the deer felt in love with him. But the cat was no different and shortly the unlikely duo became inseparable. They love to spend time together playing but what they love the most is cuddling each other.

Thankfully, Amanda captured on camera the tender moments her furry companions shared and their special bond won hearts of millions!

What can be better than enjoying a sunny day at the beach? Well, definitely being hailed as hero! It’s the case of these kids in Canada. While on vacation on the shores of the St. Lawrence River, Canada, a family from Quebec came up on something unexpected on the beach.

The family’s kids were having fun when spotted a marine creature struggling on the shores. When approached it, they soon realize it is baby beluga whale. The poor little soul was just hours old and most likely had lost its mom, ending up on the sand. The little one’s fate seemed to be sealed, but the kids decided to help it out!

“We dug a hole so that water would accumulate and its skin would hydrate,” Nicholas Milliard,15, who first found the calf with his younger brothers, told CBC News. “Every five minutes we got it a bucket of water. The water level was dropping, and it was becoming more and more difficult to get water.”

It doesn’t took too long until researchers with the Group for Research and Education on Marine Mammals arrived there and rescue the baby whale. They managed to take the little one back to the water and introduced it to a group of Beluga whales in the hope it would find a lactating whale. Thank to these devoted kids, the little beluga gets another chance to life!

Unfortunately, finding its mom would be a nearly impossible task. However, according to the rescue team, the Beluga whales are very social, so there are high chances for the orphaned baby to get adopted by another female. The opossums were very young and only a miracle could keep them alive. But fortunately for them, the miracle was called Pretinha, Stephanie’s beloved dog.

The moment Pretinha met the poor little creatures, her maternal instincts have kicked in and she just started to smell them and lick them and keep them warm, just as they were her own babies. “It’s very nice to see all the care that she has with them, licking them all the time and nestling them,” Stephanie wrote in a Facebook post.

Thanks to Stephanie persistence and Pretinha kindness, the orphaned opossums are all fine and healthy. And of course, they’re inseparable from their adoptive mom. Cop finds stray puppy – stays with her until he knows she’s safe

Cops are true heroes. They’re constantly risking their lives to protect ours. But they’re not kindhearted only when it comes to human beings, but animals as well. And this story is all about that

It was early in the morning and the shift was almost over for officer Kareem Garibaldi, from Florida’s Lakeland Police Department, when he found a confused puppy, while patrolling through a neighborhood. The pitbull- boxer mix wasn’t wearing a collar, so officer Kareem knew it would nearly impossible to find her human parents.

The kind cop took the little puppy back at the station and when his shift was over, he decided to take the poor little creature home. Once they got there, officer Kareem knew the lost puppy is his responsibility, so he had make sure she’s safe.

Therefore, after a 12-hour shift, the cop took the little doggie to the SPCA Florida. He thought maybe somebody is desperately looking for the puppy, so he had to do something about that. With his devotion and kindness, the cop impressed everyone at the shelter.

“I walked in, and that’s when I saw him and the puppy,” the shelter’s safety net manager, Connie Johnson told The Dodo. “He was exhausted, the puppy was exhausted, and they were sleeping. It was one of those moments that just grab your heart. He was so determined to get her help.”

But, the officer’s dedication doesn’t stop here. He wait there over three hours to find out the pup he just found is in a good health. It clearly was a selfless thing to do. He wasn’t thinking about getting home to sleep. He was thinking about what he could do to help this puppy survive,” said Mr. Johnson.

After finding that Hope – how they later named her, is well and healthy, officer Kareem took her back to the police station. And since a story like this could only have a happy ending, it was at the station where Hope found her adoptive mom. A dispatcher felt in love with her first moment when she saw her and since then, they live together.

Thanks to officer Kareem Garibaldi and his big heart, the helpless puppy found what she deserved – a lovely parent. “This gentleman [officer Kareem] has such a heart. He really, really cared about the outcome of that puppy,” Mr. Jonson told The Dodo.

Fawn doesn’t want to leave the kindhearted man who saved her life

Darius Sasnauskas – a Lithuanian that lives in the United States, has always had a great fond of wildlife. Therefore, when a deer birth scene unfolded in front of his eyes, he was excited as a child of a birthday present. It happened in his backyard, not far away from Yellowstone National Park. However, the beauty of the scene was eclipsed by Mother Nature’s way.

 

 

Unfortunately, one of the two newborn fawns was injured and unable to keep it up with its family, so she was left behind . The little one’s fate seemed to be sealed, even before it had begun, but thankfully Darius turned the things around.

 

 

The newborn deer would have not stand a chance all by herself in the wild, so the kind man decided to foster her, even if he’s against keeping wild animals as pets. “The fawn was helpless,” the man told The Dodo. “She was just born earlier that day…I do not support keeping wild animals as a pets. But this was [a] special situation.”

 

 

Front then on, a hard, yet so beautiful rehabilitation process started. Darius took the helpless creature inside his house to look after her. He initially cared of her front leg injury, then he made some research about how should he feed her. Every 3-4 hours, Darius hand fed the rescue fawn with milk and sometimes he even lick her on her face just like her mom would have done. All to make the poor little thing to feel as comfortable as possible.

 

 

By the time, things started to look better and better for the baby deer. She just felt herself as home in the company of her lifesaver and his beloved pets – a dog and a cat – both befriending the rescue fawn. The once so powerless creature, the little deer has gained strength and she also made a fully recover of her injured leg.

 

 

When the time came, Darius hoped to release her back in the wild, where she belong. But the moments spent with Darius and his family didn’t passed unnoticed by the wild creature. A strong bond was between her and her hero, so instead of returning in the woods, the baby deer kept coming back to the man that gave her a second chance to live.

 

 

“Since day one I was hoping to release baby deer back to the wild,” Darius said. “I really hoped that she did not get attached to me too much, because that would make [it] very hard for her to survive in the wild.” Finally, during one day the rescue baby deer reunited with his family! “[I’ve] seen [the family] many times after release, also seen them recently in the fall.”
