Sometimes stories do come and miracles do happen. One such story is of Ms. Ella, a military widow from Las Vegas, Nevada. Due to certain circumstances, Ms. Ella raises six great-grandchildren all on her own. She has raised her children and her grandchildren. Now she is raising her great-grandchildren which involves cooking, cleaning, and teaching them.
Although the circumstances are not very clear, Ms. Ella is faced with the task of looking after and bringing up her six great-grandchildren. Ms. Ella rescued them from a bad situation and gave them a loving home. All this while her house had fallen into disrepair and paying the rent and putting food on the table kept on becoming increasingly difficult.

During the past holiday season, things had grown increasingly difficult, and celebrating Christmas seemed to be impossible as Ms. Ella did not have money to buy Christmas gifts or make the house festive. Her situation was not hidden from her closest friend Ms. Alice who lives in another state. Unknown to Ms. Ella, Ms. Alice had made a plan to help Ms. Ella.
Ms. Alice made a call to Fox 5 Surprise Squad and they found Ms. Ella’s situation to be overwhelming. They showed up at Ms. Ella’s doorstep with a bunch of unexpected kindness. Ms. Ella was sh**ked when Fox 5 Surprise Squad landed at her door. On being asked what her great-grandchildren mean to her, she replied,” They are my heart.” Ms. Alice had mentioned that her 72-year-old friend was raising the six grandchildren on her own.
The amount receives each month is not enough to raise the great-grandchildren. Fox 5 Surprise Squad arrived at her door and spoke to Ms. Ella. They offered to pay the balance of her water bill and fix the toilets and fic everything that needed fixing. Fox 5 brought in the experts who were all more than willing to help and new sofas and furniture and TVs were installed in the drawing-room. All the while this makeover was happening, Ms. Ella and Ms. Alice were whisked away in a Rolls Royce for a day of pampering at a spa.
By the time they came back a new TV, new sofa, and new beds for the great-grandchildren were already installed in the house. There was a $500 gift card below the Christmas tree for each child. There was a $500 gift card for Ms. Ella too for her cooking requirements as she was extremely fond of cooking. The rent for the house was also paid off for an entire year. This was extremely overwhelming for Ms. Ella and she could only say,” It will be so different and so happy.
