Stray Kitten Shows Up At Door And Literally Demands To Be Adopted

One day, a stray kitten just simply showed up at a door and meowed loudly until someone let him in. And as they say, the rest is history!

“Binx showed up right when I needed him most – from scrawny street kitten to handsome man!” Reddit user hrtofdixie notes.

“The actual moment Binx walked into my life!”

What a brave boy.

“I put out a little wet food and when he had his back turned I reached out the screen door and scooped him up. He was flea ridden and skinny so he got a flea bath immediately, some food and a warm place to sleep. I hadn’t intended on keeping him – but we all know how well that works out.”

At a visit to the vet, Binx received a clean bill of health.

He’s certainly a super curious little guy!

Cuddling with his new human mama.

“Binx took to Nickel (the gray tabby) right away and after a few days, Nickel let his guard down.”

“Nickel was 16 years old and about a month after Binx showed up, Nickel suddenly passed away. I don’t think it was a coincidence and I like to believe Nickel told Binx all his secrets before he left.”

Binx even tried to nurse from Nickel but what he didn’t realize was that Nickel wasn’t a mama.

“It warmed my heart how Binx was accepted as family.”

“He has gotten fluffy and healthy over these last 6 months. I can’t wait to see how he’ll look when he’s grown!”

“He’s such a sweetheart and he soothed my heart after losing Nickel.”

“It’s funny how life works sometimes. I definitely hit the kitty lottery.”

Read these characteristics which almost all cat lovers have in common:

INTROVERTED AND SENSITIVE
It’s the nature of cats that they are not friends with everybody, and the same trait can be seen in their owners too. Usually, they live alone and are happy with their independent lifestyle. They are introverts but are comfortable hanging around with other people. However, they would need some me-time to relax and recharge.

CAT LOVERS LEAN TO LEFT
It has been observed that people with liberal political leanings prefer cats over dogs. You might be a liberal dog lover or a conservative cat owner; if you’re a liberal, you love cats and vice versa.

CAT OWNERS ARE OPEN-MINDED
Five traits – conscientiousness, neuroticism, extraversion, agreeableness, and openness are often seen in most cat lovers. As compared to dog owners, people who have cats as pets are more open and therefore, have greater artistic creativity.

ATTENTION SEEKERS
Just like their pets, cat lovers seek attention from people around them. They like to be the centre of all conversations. At times, cat owners rely on their pets for emotional support.

THEY RESPECT CATS MORE THAN ANYONE
Cat people respect cats more than humans, in general. The saddest sight for a cat lover is to see the animal on the streets without a home. Cat lovers are often seen making a special effort to rescue or rehabilitate homeless cats.
