This is the incredible moment when a very clever beluga whale approached a fisherman’s boat with a special gift.

While on a boat ride off Hammerfest, Norway, Ina мคหiska and her friends experienced something pretty amazing.

They had an encounter with a Beluga whale who had a harness wrapped around it, it seemed like a Russian harness and the beluga was dubbed a ‘spy whale’

After a small accident, мคหsika dropped her phone in the water, only to be retrieved by the beluga who also came up to say hello.

“We laid down on the dock to look at it and hopefully get the chance to pat it,” мคหsika told The Dodo.

“I had forgotten to close my jacket pocket and my phone fell in the ocean. We assumed it would be gone forever, until the whale dove back down and came back a few moments later with my phone in its mouth!”

Mansika and her friends couldn’t believe it!

“Everyone was so surprised. We almost didn’t believe what we saw,” she said. “I was super happy and thankful that I got my phone back.”

Despite the phone being broken beyond repair, it was still a lovely gesture from a friendly and intelligent beluga whale!
