A polydactyl cat is a cat born with more than the usual number of toes on one or more of its paws. Ernest Hemingway was a famous aficionado of polydactyl cats, after being first given, by a ship captain, a six-toed cat he named Snow White. Wow she’s phenomenal I love these cats I feel like I have to have one someday before I leave this earth so majestic so beautiful.
She is a black beauty for sure, and sooo majestic❣️I’m getting my first MC the end of November. He is a red/ silver male, and we named him Kimba. Sooo exciting and still unbelievable to me. My very first cat was polydactyl and he was incredibly smart. And he actually liked water. I didn’t try to get him in water but one day I was swimming in a small lake, I was out there by myself but I took him with me to the lake. I left him on the edge where he loved to chase frogs. After I was in the lake for about 10 minutes I looked for him and he wasn’t where he always was then I noticed he was swimming out towards me 😊. After that I had to get him his own float.
