As true animal lovers, there is absolutely nothing that completely breaks our hearts like the sight of an animal in need or in danger.

This person just so happened to be out taking a walk when they spotted this…
Clearly, this whole scene looks horrible.
The poor cat must have been hit by a car in the parking lot and is in need of desperate medical attention. And so, Honeyflowers rushed over to the animal’s side.
…Only to discover that the poor, injured cat was really just lying on top of drops of dried red paint splatters.
And then, in typical cat fashion, he seemed to be more upset that he had been woken up from his nap than the panic in the human before him.
Indeed, the cat was very much alive and unharmed.
But hey, any one of us animal lovers totally would have done the exact same thing!
