Keep Reba McEntire in your prayers.

On Wednesday, Reba McEntire updated her followers on her “tough” health situation, and she was instantly swamped with prayers and well wishes after doing so.

The singer of country music sent a message on her Instagram account to let her fans know that she has been forced to delay three of her scheduled gigs after receiving medical advise to do so.

Reba has acknowledged that she is currently undergoing vocal rest and has expressed gratitude to her fans for their understanding during this time.

“Due to the fact that my physician has recommended that I take some time off to rest my voice, I have reluctantly chosen to delay the performances that were scheduled for this weekend.

All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled events. Thank you for understanding! Love, Reba “she had written. The performances are scheduled to take place as follows: on Thursday night in Raleigh, North Carolina; on Friday night in Columbus, Ohio; and on Saturday night in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The announcement was met with swift responses from fans, with one of them responding as follows: “Take care of yourself and your voice before anything else, please. Your wellbeing is more important to us than attending any particular event. We adore you Reba! God Bless you!”

A second participant responded by saying, “Sending love and prayers.” A third added: “Take care of yourself, Reba. I will pray for you, and remember that you may always get them done at a later time!”

Reba’s health problems have arisen after she paid respect to the late country music great Loretta Lynn, who passed away “peacefully” in her sleep at the age of 90 last month. Reba paid tribute to Loretta Lynn shortly before she passed away.

Reba shared a heartfelt and lengthy remembrance of her late mother on Instagram, which tugged at the audience members’ heartstrings. In the post, Reba also reflected on her own life and career.

It said there: “Mama was four years older than Loretta Lynn, making her the more experienced of the two. They have always brought to mind many similarities between the two of them. Strong ladies who were deeply devoted to their children and who loved them dearly.”

She went on to say that “Now that they are both in Heaven, they are able to catch up with one another and discuss the ways in which they were brought up as well as the ways in which country music has evolved since they were young. That Mama had the opportunity to greet Loretta when she entered the hollers of paradise makes the fact that she passed away first a very comforting thought for me.”

After that, Reba continued: “I have always loved Loretta, and that feeling will never change. She treated me with such kindness at all times. I owe a lot of gratitude to her for blazing a difficult and treacherous path for all of us girl singers.”
