Dolphins don’t have strong enough jaws to bite through large prey, but they do have sharp teeth which they use to chew off pieces to eat. They also will rub their catch against the ocean bottom to break off those pieces.

The fish is a crevalle jack, also known as the common jack, a large fish known as one of the strongest and fastest in the ocean.
As you can see from the full video below, the dolphin was not alone while eating his meal. Several rays can be spotted, as well as two pelicans circling overhead, hoping for some scraps.
